Welcome to Along the Road

Along the Road is a totally unpolished experiment in progress.

One part blog, one part journal, one part photo scrapbook. No plan or purpose aside from unsolicited creative expression, which is fun and more of us should do.

At its best, I hope it relates a curiosity-driven perspective on the people, places, and things that can make our random walks through this planet so fulfilling.

The initial structure, which might – and probably will – change at some point, goes like this:

Journal: Longish-form writing, anecdotes of interest, and stories of notable places and people encountered.

Gallery: Photos organized by place, trip, or experience.

Notepad: Snippets, random thoughts, insightful (hopefully) quotes, and one-off snapshots that don't fit anywhere else.
